Director Carrie Mistina gives back to the community

At CFO Strategic Partners, we embrace our mission: To enrich lives. It’s not just a motto, it’s put into practice. Director Carrie Mistina embodies our belief. She takes our values a step further with her contributions to the Central Florida community.

Mistina gives advice to a young entrepreneur.

Ever since she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Mistina has felt she should give back to the university in some way. She now volunteers at the UCF Business Incubation Program. She uses her experience in finance to help companies in early stages become financially stable.

“I enjoy giving advice to young entrepreneurs,” said Mistina. “One day, I hope their companies will be big enough that they’ll need not only my help, but the help of CFO Strategic Partners.”

Mistina also volunteers with other CFOSP employees at Ronald McDonald House every December. By preparing meals for families in need, the team illustrates the true meaning of the holiday season. It’s a time of sharing and this event allows CFOSP and Mistina herself the chance to give back in a family’s most vulnerable time. CFO Strategic Partners plans on volunteering again this upcoming holiday season.

“CFO Strategic Partners has allowed me to devote time to the Central Florida community. By volunteering with multiple organizations, I hope I’m able to reach and meet people of different backgrounds and grow from my experiences,” Mistina explained.

Mistina was recently promoted to director and has been with CFOSP for two and a half years. She has extensive experience in high level strategic finance for midsize and large companies. She’s responsible for the firm’s growth, client retention and addition of new members. Mistina says she will continue to focus on her clients financials so the company can focus on its goals.
